SIP Server/SIP Provider
To configure an X-35 device to register to a SIP
Server or SIP Provider, enter the Phone Number
(or SIP extension name), SIP Password,
Authentication ID (if required), and the IP
Address/URL of the SIP Server. Enter the SIP
port that will be used, if this is blank port 5060
will be used.
The default SIP protocol is UDP, if TLS or
Secure RTP is to be used, change this setting
on the VoIP-Security page.
Outbound Proxy Settings
Registering via an Outbound Proxy
To register an X-35 device to a SIP Server or
SIP Provider with an Outbound Proxy, follow the
steps below.
Change the drop down for "SIP
STEP 1 Registration Routing" to "REGISTER via
Proxy".
Enter the Phone Number (or SIP
extension name), SIP Password,
STEP 2
Authentication ID (if required), and the IP
Address/URL of the SIP Server.
Enter the Outbound Proxy IP
STEP 3
Address/URL.
Enter the SIP port that will be used (this
port could differ between the SIP Domain
STEP 4
and Outbound Proxy), if this is blank port
5060 will be used.
The default SIP protocol is UDP, if TLS or
STEP 5 Secure RTP is to be used, change this
setting on the VoIP-Security page.
