Samsung may o ffer upgrades toyour Blu-ray player's firmware inthe future. Toupgrade this firmware you must :
1. Go tosamsung.com and refer to'SUPPORT' page t odownload the firmware and burn a nupdate CD.
or
2. Connect this player's LAN terminal tothe LAN terminal onyour modem ( see p age 3 0) a nd follow t he steps
below.
Firmware Upgrade
t. With the unit in No Disc mode, press the MENU button.
2. Press the a. T buttons to select Setup, then press the ENTER
or _ button.
3. Press the A T buttons to select System Upgrade, then press
the ENTER or _ button.
4. Press the A T buttons to select Upgrade Start, then press the
ENTER or _ button.
5. You will see a window that allows you to check the cable or
network connection status.
[] If the upgrade is possible : You will see information on the
current and new versions of firmware in a message box.
[] If the upgrade is not possible : You will see the following
description in the message box.
,, If the cable is not connected :
"This system can not connect to intemet for update.
Please, check the network setup."
,, If the network connection has failed :
"This system can not connected to intemet for update.
Please, check the network setup"
If no later version is released (the latest version has been already installed) :
"The latest version of the firmware is already installed. There is no need to update."
If there is a disc in the player :
"Pleasemaintain "No Disc" state for network update."
This indicates that you must remove all discs from the unit to perform the update.
