Intended use
The tool is designed for stripping cables. Only use the tool
for the work described in the operating instructions.
Safety notes
Do not work on live parts.
Cover and block off live parts in the vicinity of your work-
place.
Maintenance
The tool must be checked regularly for proper functioning.
If it is not possible to carry out such checks on site, they
can be carried out by the manufacturer.
Repairs
The tool may only be repaired by the manufacturer, other-
wise accidents may occur at the site of the operator.
Insulation material
Because of the vast quantity of different insulation ma-
terials available, tool results may vary according to the
chemical composition, material hardness, temperature
or humidity. These factors apply in particular to non-har-
monized AWG wires. For this reason, Weidmüller cannot
guarantee a trouble-free stripping process in all customer
applications. Therefore, check whether the selected tool is
suitable for your specific application. If you have any que-
