Sets the appropriate decoding for incoming
digital sigm_ls.
• PCM priority mode (DEC. PCM)
Use to enjoy playback from audio CD
(PCM) and DVD. Wben used with media
other thtm CD or DVD, you mt_y experience
noise. If this happens, switch to AUTO
IIlode.
• AUTO mode (DEC. AUTO)
Use to enjoy playback from audio CD
(PCM), DVD, DTS-CD and DTS-LD
sources. However, with audio CDs, you may
not be able to listen the very first moments
of each track.
Normally, use as-is with the initiN settings
above.
This function is useful when you use 2 Sony
receivers in the same room.
t Turn off the receiver.
2 Hold down ENTER and press I/(_ to
turn on the receiver.
"C.MODE.AVX" t_ppears in the display.
Each time you repeat the procedure above,
the display chtmges as follows:
C.MODE.AVI _ C.MODE.AV2
Tip
The initial sel_ing is "C.MODE.AV2".
Notes
• The initial setting tk)r the command mode of the
supplied remote is "AV2".
• If the command mode of the receiver and tile
remote is differenL you cannot use the remote to
operate the receiver.
