MECHANICAL ADJUSTMENTS
SENEAAL REMARKS HEAD POSITION ADJUSTMENT
The distance .between the cassette fixing pins and each Head

Erase Head .. 2.2... 4.5mm
2. Use the external power source (Constant-Voltage Regulator,
4.5V DC) whenever a repair or an adjustment work is

TAKE-UP TORQUE ADJUSTMENT
PINCH ROLLER ADJUSTMENT Set the unit in the playback mode and measure the take-up
Check the Pinch Roller. If the rubber surface has scratch marks torque of the Take-up Reel. It should be 6 -- 11g-cm.
or is deteriorated, replace it with a new one.
Set the unit in the playback mode and measure the pressure Take-up Reel -——
with the dial tension gauge. It should be 180 - 150g-cm.
Dial Tension Gauge
160 — 250g
If the foilowing parts are stained or the rubber is deteriorated,
Capstan wice them with a soft cloth soaked in alcohol or replace them
with new ones.
