The
upper
dia
l
scale of
the
730 is
calibrated
for FM
broadcast
stat
ion
frequencies
fr
om 88
to 108
MHz.
Eac
h FM
station
in
your area has
an
ass ig
ned
frequency that I
alls within
thes

li
mi ts. You
can use
the
illumina
ted dial
pointer
and
scale of
the
730
to find
any station
in
your
area if
you
know
the
assigned frequency.

Note that when an
AM station
is
being tuned
in the
FM MAX
QUIET

right. In
other words

best
listening
point
is

hen
th
e
meter
is
as fa
r
to
the right
as possible.
For convenience, a
third
"
logg ing
"
scale
with
arbitrary
numbers
from 0-100
is prov ided so you
can
simplify
the
ask of memorizing
the
various
assigned
frequency numbers
of the
FM
and
AM
stations
in
you
r
area.

MUTE ADJ
control
on the
rear
panel
controls
the
signal
