If the brake fluid level is too low, the symbol

appears on the instrument panel and a message
is displayed on the multi-function display. In

combination with a larger pedal travel, the
R illuminated symbol may also indicate a defect in
the brake system.
e Stop immediately in a suitable place and do not

T continue driving.
e Visit a qualified specialist workshop. Porsche

recommends a Porsche partner as they have
V trained workshop personnel and the necessary
parts and tools.

Checking the brake fluid level
e Read off the brake fluid level on the brake fluid
reservoir (Fig. 38). The fluid level must always
be between the MIN and MAX markings.
e Have the brake fluid topped up if the brake fluid
level is below the MIN marking:

recommends a Porsche partner as they have
trained workshop personnel and the necessary
parts and tools.
Changing brake fluid
Regular checking and changing the brake fluid is
part of servicing.
