Installation

Installing the faucet assembly
CAUTION: Always turn off the water supply before
removing an existing faucet or replacing any part of a
faucet. Open the faucet handle to relieve water pressure
and ensure that the water is completely shut off.
Shut off the water supply. Remove the old
faucet.
Place the spout assembly (A) through the middle
mounting hole in the sink.
Secure the spout assembly (A) with the washer
(D) and the nut (E). Use the basin wrench to
tighten the nut (E).
NOTE: This step is for no escutcheon installation (optional).
If the escutcheon will be used, install the faucet assembly
as described in step 2.

Making the waterline
connections
NOTE: The hot side inlet tube is indcated by a label.
If the label is not present, the hot supply tube is the longer
of the two inlet tubes.
Use 1/2 in. I.P.S. faucet connections (2), or use
supply line coupling nuts (3) (not included) with
a 3/8 in. O.D. ball-nose riser (1).
NOTE: Before tightening the faucet connector to the water
supply, apply a second wrench to the supply tube tting.
This will prevent the supply tube from moving or twisting
when tightening the faucet connector. Do not overtighten.

Installing the faucet assembly
NOTE: This step is for escutcheon installation (optional).
If the escutcheon will not be used, install the faucet
assembly as described in step 1.
Place the escutcheon (B) and the gasket (C) on
the bottom of the new faucet assembly (A).
Place the faucet assembly (A) through the
mounting holes in the sink.
Secure the spout assembly (A) with the washer
(D) and the nut (E). Use the basin wrench to
tighten the nut (E).
NOTE: If the sink is uneven, use silicone under the
gasket (C).
