Introduction This manual contains all the necessary information on the installation and operation of the support blocks. Some of the maintenance operations should only be carried out by professional technicians. If you require this information and the maintenance steps, please contact your dealer. Also included in this manual are a number of safety instructions to create a safe working environment.

These support blocks may be unsafe if adequate maintenance is neglected. Therefore, adequate maintenance facilities, trained personnel and procedures should be provided. Maintenance and inspection must conform to the following practices: 1. A scheduled planned maintenance and inspection system should be followed.(See maintenance instructions chapter 7) 2.
Safety instructions 3.1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPERATING THE PRODUCT • TVH Parts NV cannot envisage each possible circumstance that may result in danger. Therefore, the warnings given in this publication and those on the equipment are not exhaustive. In the event that equipment, procedures, work methods or working techniques are used that are not specifically advised by the TVH Parts NV company, it is necessary to make sure that there is no danger to the operator or other people.
Transport and storage 1. Storage • Store the support blocks in a clean environment, preferably indoors and in a dry area, to protect the support blocks from long-term exposure to moisture. • If the equipment is stored outdoors, make sure that the support blocks are protected against moisture and rain.

If damage or malfunctions are discovered during pre-operation inspection or function tests, the product must be tagged and removed from service.
Operation 6.1. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Carry out the daily maintenance check listed in chapter 7. 1. Lifting 1. Apply the emergency brake. 2. Use wheel chocks on all unlifted wheels to make sure the vehicle is stable. 3. Lift the vehicle with the appropriate jack 4.

5. Make sure that the load is centred on the support blocks. 6. Stack the blocks on top of each other. Make sure that the top block is as close to the vehicle as possible. 7. Slowly lower the vehicle onto the support blocks. 2.
Maintenance 7.1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE REPAIR OF THE PRODUCT • Do not attempt to repair the product unless you are trained and authorised to do so. • Repairs to the product may only be made by a qualified service technician and according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Final decommissioning and disposal Final, proper decommissioning or disposal of the product must be performed in accordance with the regulations of the country in which the product is used. In particular, regulations governing the disposal of batteries, fuels and electronic and electrical systems must be observed.
