    INTRODUCTION This manual contains all the necessary information on the installation and operation of the support blocks. Some of the maintenance operations should only be carried out by professional technicians. If you require this information and the maintenance steps, please contact your dealer. Also included in this manual are a number of safety instructions to create a safe working environment.
  • Page 7 These support blocks may be unsafe if adequate maintenance is neglected. Therefore, adequate maintenance facilities, trained personnel and procedures should be provided. Maintenance and inspection must conform to the following practices: 1. A scheduled planned maintenance and inspection system should be followed (see maintenance instructions chapter 7).

    TRANSPORT AND STORAGE 4.1. Transport If you want to move the support blocks, use the carrying rope. If you want to move the support blocks with a car or truck, make sure that the support blocks are fixed and cannot move freely. You can do this by securing the support blocks with a belt or by placing them in a container or box.

    OPERATION 6.1. Safety instructions • Keep the work area well illuminated. • Make sure that the support blocks make a firm contact with the ground. • When the support blocks are in use no persons are near the support blocks or under the vehicle to avoid serious injury.
  • Page 14 3. Lift the vehicle with the appropriate jack. 4. Once at the correct height, carefully position the support blocks under the vehicle in the designated places. Place the support blocks on each side of the jack. The support blocks should be as widely spaced as possible! If you place the support blocks too close together, the vehicle has a greater chance of falling over.
