5.15 Diskette Drive

For use with TouchPad only notebook models
For use with Dual Stick notebook models
The diskette drive cable is included in Miscellaneous Cable Kit,
spare part number 285540-001
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 5.3).
2. Remove the palm rest (Section 5.14).
3. Turn the palm rest bottom side up with the speaker grilles
facing away from you.
4. Remove the three TM2.5 × 5.0 screws 1 that secure the
diskette drive to the palm rest (Figure 5-30).
5. Remove the diskette drive 2 from the palm rest.
