Changing the wind direction
• If the connected indoor units have louvers, then the horizontal louver icon is displayed on the air conditioner main
screen.
• If the connected indoor units have vertical louvers, then the vertical louver icon is displayed on the air conditioner
main screen.
* For models that have only left-right directional louvers, they are operated as horizontal louvers on the remote
control.
Up / down direction: Horizontal louvers
* Display while swinging
Left / right direction: Vertical louvers
* Display while swinging

* Display when swinging (up / down) is cancelled

NOTE
• When the operation mode is "Cool" or "Dry", the horizontal louvers point downward but do not stop at positions
(4) or (5). If swing is stopped in positions (4) or (5), the louvers move to position (3) and then stop.
• " " is displayed when "Louver lock" is set. Refer to "Louver lock (Fixing the angle of the louvers)"

During swing operation, push [ ] and

The louvers stop at the position when [ ] or
[ ] is pushing.
When [ ] is pushing in the display when
swing was cancelled, the louvers go to wind
direction position (1), when [ ] is pushing, the
louvers go to position (3) during "Cool" or "Dry"
operation, and go to position (5) during "Fan"
or "Heat" operation, and vertical louvers go to
position (7).
