1.
Always wear impact safety goggles that provide front
and side protection for the eyes. Eye protection
equipment should comply with CSA Z94.3-07 or ANSI
Z87.1 standards based on the type of work performed.
2.
Use the correct tool for the job. This tool was designed
for a specific function. Do not modify or alter this tool or
use it for an unintended purpose.
3.
Control the tool, personal movement and the work
environment to avoid personal injury or damage to tool.
4.
Do not operate any tool when tired or under the
influence of drugs, alcohol or medications.
5.
Cut glass edges are sharp. Be careful when handling the
pieces.

UNPACKING
WARNING! Do not operate the tool if any part is
missing. Replace the missing part before operating.
Failure to do so could result in a malfunction and
personal injury.
Remove the parts and accessories from the packaging and
inspect for damage.
OPERATION
1.
Place the glass on a flat surface.
2.
Draw a line on the glass with a ruler and marker.
3.
Hold the glass cutter at a 40 to 60º vertical angle with
the head against the ruler and the blade on the drawn
line. Start the tool at the edge of the glass.
4.
Lubricant will flow from the reservoir when pressure is
applied to the cutting wheel.
5.
Apply steady pressure and either push or pull the glass
cutter without stopping, until it rolls off the glass. You
will hear a grinding sound as the cutter scores the glass,

Snapping straight scores in glass.
a.
Hold the glass in your hands with your thumbs on
top alongside of the score on either side. Sharply
rotate your hands downward in opposite directions
while maintaining your grip to separate the glass.
b.
Use running or breaking pliers with the above
method in place of one hand.
i.
Running pliers are for thick glass.
ii.
Breaking pliers are for thin strips of glass that
you cannot hold with your hand.
c.
Hang the score about 1/4 in. over a table edge. Press
the glass down on the table with one hand. Hold the
glass on the other side of the score. Lift the
overhanging glass several inches and abruptly bring
the glass down on the table edge to snap the glass
along the score.
7.
Snap straight or curved scores in glass with either
method below.
a.
Flip the glass pane over and lay it down on the
flat surface. Tap the glass in a steady rhythm
along the score with a rounded tool until the
glass separates.
b.
Flip the glass pane over and lay it down on the
flat surface. Place your thumbs on either side of
the score and press down with straight arms. As
you hear the glass crack, run your thumbs along
the score until the glass separates.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
1.
Maintain the tool with care. A tool in good condition is
efficient, easier to control and will have fewer problems.
2.
Inspect the tool components periodically. Repair or
replace damaged or worn components. Only use identical
replacement parts when servicing.
LUBRICATION
1.
Unscrew the metal ball from the shaft.
2.
Add several drops of cutting oil to the reservoir with the
included filling pipette.
3.
Screw the metal ball back into place.
4.
Press down on the cutting wheel to allow the lubricant to
flow.
