then press ENTER.
Notes
• You coamot activate the Daily Timer and recording

timer at file same time.
• It'you use the Daily Timer and the Sleep Timer at the
same time, the Sleep Timer has priority. 3
• If the system is on at the preset time, the Daily Timer
will not be activated.
• You cannot use the optional component connected to
the MD IN jacks as sound sources tbr the Daily
Timer. 4
Tip
The system _P_ on 15 _onds bef_e the pre_t time.
You can record a preset radio station from a
specified time.
To timer record, you must first preset the radio
station (see "Prese_ing radio stations" on
page 13) and set the clock (see "Setting the
clock" on page 8).
Use buttons on the remote for the operation.

Tune in the preset radio station (see
"Listening to a preset station" on
page 14).
Press CLOCK/TIMER SET.
'"DAILY SET" ap_.
Press I<1<1/bH_l repeatedly to select
"REC SET", then press ENTER.
"ON" appears and the hour indication
flashes.
Set the time to start recording.
Press t,11.<1/IHIHrepeatedly to set the hour,
then press ENTER.
The minute indication flashes.
Press I<1,</IHIH repeatedly to set the
minute, then press E_R.
5 Set the time to stop recording following
the same procedure as step 4.
The start time, the s-lop time, and the preset
radio station to be recorded (e.g, "TUNER
FM 5") appear in turn, before the original
display returns.
Load a recordable tape.
7 Press TAPE _<IIP _ on the unit, if you
want to switch the direction. Then
press II.
8 Press PLAY MODE repeatedlyto select
"_" to record on one side or "_-Y' to
record on both sides.
9 Press I/(J) to turn off the system.
