Selecting the Camera Mode

There are three modes that can be used to take pictures:
Record, Timer, and Preset.
normal picture taking. The Timer mode allows you to take
a picture after a 10-second delay. Preset mode allows you
to take pictures in one of two preset color schemes:
Monochrome (Black & White), or Sepia.
Rotate the Mode Dial to the mode you wish to use. Most
often you will use the

pictures in either Monochrome or Sepia presets, rotate the
Mode Dial to PRE SET and select Sepia or Monochrome.

Framing your Shots

Prevent the camera from shaking (resulting in blurred
pictures) by holding the camera steadily with both hands.
You can use either the Viewfinder or the LCD display to
preview the picture. Turning off the LCD display and using
the Viewfinder will extend battery life. However, it may be
more convenient to use the LCD display in some situations.
Hold the camera with thumb and forefingers of both
hands on either side of the camera, with the forefinger of
your right hand on top of the Shutter Button.
