WORKING VOLTAGES
17.
The voltages given (Table 1) are representative of those to be expected on an a, c. operated
instrument if measurements are made with
a
multi-range
meter
having a sensitrvity of 20 kQ./V
using the lowest range suitable for each reading with a supply voltage at the mean of the range
for which the instrument is set.
When checking these voltages, allowance should be made for
permissible
variations
in semiconductor performance and component values which may be found
on an individual instrument.
It
is
assumed that the stabilized
d.
c. supply voltage is correctly
set at 55
V
(para. 19).
