ALIBRATING AND

CANNER
You calibrated your scanner when first installing it, but after many
hours of use you may find that scanned images may not be a sharp and
clear as when you originally began using the scanner. In that case,
recalibration may solve the problem.
If your scanned images have streaks, smudges, or dirt spots, you may
need to use the Cleaning Paper that you received with the scanner.
The process to calibrate and clean your scanner is slightly different for
Windows XP than for Windows 98, 2000, and Me. Please make sure to
use the correct process below.
To recalibrate or clean your scanner for Windows 98, 2000, or Me:
1. Start the PaperPort software.
2. Click the Scan icon on the PaperPort command bar.
3. Click the Scan button on the PaperPort Scan pane.
The Strobe XP 100 Scan window opens.
