Listening to cassette tapes
Before starting playback
Set the POWER switch to ON.
POWER
Press the
STOP/EJECT Key.
DOLBY NR switch TAPE SELECTOR switch
Deck A operation keys POWER switch Deck B operation keys
Insert with the side to be played facing
toward the front.
e@ Be sure to remove tape slack before insertion.
2 Determine the playback conditions.
@) Tape type selection (Deck B only)

@ With playback on deck A,the type of tape is set automati-
cally.
3 Start playback.
Deck A
PLAY
@ Playback stops automatically at the end of tape.
To stop playback
@ Select the Dolby NR mode.
@ Set to OFF when playing a tape recorded without using
Dolby NR.
e@ When taking out the tape, press the STOP/EJECT key af- |
ter the tape transport has stopped completely.
