1 Safety Safety Icons NOTE: The use of the signal words DANGER, WARNING and CAUTION with the safety messages. 1 Safety Waste disposal Incorrect disposal of waste can cause pollution to the environment. Some examples of dangerous waste materials include oil, fuel, coolant, battery chemicals and air-conditioning refrigerant. • Only use an approved container to collect the waste material. Always seal the container after you drain the fluids.
2 Maintenance and storage Maintenance • Clean the tool before and after use. A dirty tool can be slippery which can be dangerous. • Do a check of the tool before you use the tool. Do not use the tool if it is unserviceable. Make sure all of the components are serviceable.
2 Maintenance and storage Storage IMPORTANT: Do not store the tool outside. Make sure that tool is stored correctly. The tool must be stored in a dry environment away from regular work areas. If it is possible, storing the tool in a dust free environment helps the serviceability and maintenance of the tool.

4 Operation Preparation 4.1.1 Install the wheel weight tool safely on to the forks WARNING: Heavy components. Incorrect movement of heavy items can cause death or injury. Use the applicable equipment and points to lift or hold the machine and heavy items during procedures.
4 Operation Use of the lift tool 4.2.1 Remove the wheel weight from the machine Before starting the procedure To prevent damage to the tire valve, make sure that the tire valve is at the top of the wheel. Procedure Do a check to make sure the forks on the fork lift truck are level.

4 Operation Remove the 3 fasteners. Fig. 5 WARNING: Make sure that the danger zones are clear before moving the wheel weight. Make sure that no person enters the danger zone. Use the fork lift truck to carefully remove the wheel weight from the wheel.
4 Operation 10. IMPORTANT: Keep the tool installed to the wheel weight for steps 11 to 13. Operate the forks to align the wheel weight with the storage container. 11. Put the wheel weight in the storage container. Fig. 8 WARNING: Do not operate the fork lift truck for this step.

4 Operation Procedure IMPORTANT: Make sure that the forks on the fork lift truck are level. Use the fork lift truck to align the tool with the centre of the wheel weight. Install the tool to the wheel weight. Slowly raise the forks on the fork lift truck. Make sure that the rollers engage with the wheel weight. Remove the 2 pins and the bar from the storage container.

4 Operation WARNING: • Only do this work step when the parking brake of the forklift truck is engaged. • Be very careful when rotating the wheel weights. There is a risk of trapping or crushing your fingers. • When inserting the wheel weight, do not hit the wheel weight on the tire valve.
4 Operation Operation complete 4.3.1 Remove the wheel weight tool safely from the forks Procedure Transport the tool to the correct storage location. WARNING: Make sure that the danger zones are clear before lowering the forks. Lower the forks on the fork lift truck. Remove the hook and chain from the fork lift truck.
