    Safety SAFETY SIGNS WARNING: Do not remove or obscure Danger, Warning Caution signs. Replace any Danger, Warning or Caution signs that are not readable or are missing. Replacement signs are available from your dealer in the event of loss or damage.
  • Page 13 Safety FIG. 5: High Pressure Fluid Hazard (2)- Risk of Scalding or Burns. Safety sign is located near expansion tank. Pressurized coolant can cause serious burns. To open cooling system filler cap, stop engine and wait until cooling system components are cool. Loosen cooling system pressure cap slowly to relieve pressure.

Chemical spills result in environmental damage. A loaded machine driven on public roads also runs the high risk of tire failure.

    Safety CHEMICAL SAFETY Operator Cabs FIG. 52: Cabs use filters that may not filter out hazardous chemicals. Follow chemical manufacturer’s instructions. Cabs labelled "Enclosed Cabs for Pesticide Application Incorporating Respiratory Protection" or "ECPAR" comply with EPA Worker Protection Standards for operating in a pesticide environment.

    Hazardous chemical residue can build up on inside and outside of machine. WARNING: Direct exposure to hazardous chemicals can cause serious injury or death. Potentially hazardous chemicals used with AGCO equipment include such items fuel, lubricants, coolants, hydraulic fluid, paints and adhesives.

    Safety AVOID HEATING NEAR PRESSURIZED FLUID LINES FIG. 65: Never heat by welding, soldering or using a torch near pressurized fluid lines or other flammable materials. Pressurized lines can be accidentally cut when heat goes beyond immediate flame area. Flammable spray can be generated by heating near pressurized fluid lines, resulting in severe burns to personnel and bystanders.
