6. Replacement of the grill heater
(A) Disconnect 3 lead wires of power supply cord from noise filter and fan
motor bracket.
(B) Remove 6 screws holding the back panel. (Fig. 12A)
(C) Remove 2 grill heater lead wires by removing screws.
(D) Remove 3 screws holding grill heater. (Fig. 16D)
(E) Remove spring (speed) nuts from heater terminals.
NOTE: Install new grill heater as its rating plate will make illustrated
direction. (Fig. 16B)
(A) Remove 3 bolts holding the upper hinge to the oven assembly.
(B) Open the door assembly and while pulling the door assembly toward
you, work the upper hinge out through the hole in the oven assembly.
The door assembly will be simply lifted off bottom hinge pin at the
same time.
NOTE: Do not lose spacer at the bottom hinge. (Fig. 17A)
(C) Place a protective pad or soft cloth on working table so as to prevent
scratches on door screen B.
(D) Remove 4 screws holding the door C. (Fig. 17A)
(E) Remove the door C by carefully pulling outward starting from the up-
per right hand corner.
(F) Remove door key spring and remove 3 screws holding door handle.
(Fig. 17B)
(G) Separate the door A from door E by carefully freeing the 10 catch
hooks on door A while pulling outward. (Fig. 17C)
(H) Remove door keys, door key lever and handle pins from the door E.
(Fig. 17B)
(1) When mounting the door assembly to the oven assembly, be sure to
adjust the door assembly parallel to the bottom line of the oven face
plate by moving the upper hinge and lower hinge in the direction
necessary for proper alignment. (Fig. 17D & 17E) Also adjust so that
the door has no play between the inner door surface and oven frame
assembly. If the door assembly is not mounted properly, microwaves
may leak from the clearance between the door and the oven.
