12.1 Suitable dishwashing
detergents
Only use detergents that are suitable
for the dishwasher. Suitable for both
non-combined and combined
detergents.
For optimal washing and drying
results, use a non-combined
detergent in combination with
separate softening salt
→ Page 25 and rinse aid
→ Page 27 .

Modern, powerful dishwasher
detergents usually have a low alkaline
formulation with enzymes. Enzymes
break down starch and dissolve
proteins. Oxygen-based bleaches are
usually used to remove colored stains
(e.g. tea or ketchup).
Remark:Follow the manufacturer's
instructions for any dishwasher
detergent.
Tip:Suitable dishwasher detergents are
available online via our website or
service department → Page 52 .
Tabs
Tabs are suitable for all dishwashing
tasks and do not require dosing.
With shortened programs, tabs may
not dissolve completely, leaving
detergent residue behind. This can
negatively affect the cleaning effect.
Dishwashing powder
For shortened programs, detergent
powder is recommended.
The dosage can be adjusted to the
degree of contamination.
Liquid dishwasher detergent
Liquid detergents work faster and are
recommended for shortened
programs without a pre-rinse phase.
It may happen that liquid detergent
added to it runs out of the detergent
dispenser even though it is closed.
This is not a defect and is not serious
if you observe the following: ¡Choose
only one program
without pre-rinse phase.
¡Do not enter a time setting for the
program starts.
