Copying Your Tapes (Dubbing)
Connections you'll need to make.
Playing (Source) VCR Recording (Editing) VCR TV for Monitoring
Insert a pre-recorded
tape into the Playing
(Source) VCR.
Insert a blank tape
fcy with record tab into the
Recording (Editing) VCR.
To Monitor the Re-Recording
1 Turn the TV on and select its VCR channel
{CH3 or CH4) on the Recording VCR.

Set the VCR/TV selector on the Recording
VCR to the "VCR" position.
Selecting the Input Mode
qN Select Input "LINE" on the
Oy Recording (Editing) VCR.
(See "Selecting the
Input Mode" at right.)
/jN Push PLAY on Playing VCR.
Hy Push PAUSE at the point you
want to start copying.
e\ Push REC and PLAY at the

Push PAUSE immediately.
2 Push MENU to display the
menu.

Rotate and push the Wheel FrT
to select "SET UP VCR". six
Rotate the Wheel to select
"INPUT SELECT", and
then push to choose
TUNER or LINE.

Push PAUSE on both
VCRs (at the same time),
Edit Out Unwanted Parts
of the original recording by using the PAUSE button (on the
Recording unit) while copying is in progress.
Push STOP on both
VCRs to stop copyint
When LINE is selected, "L" is-1
displayed in the Multi Function
Display for about 4 seconds.
