Practical stitches/ Puntadas de utilidad
Set the machine as illustrated.
Turn the stitch width dial and stitch length dial to suit the fabric and
application.
Shell stitch (A)
For decorative edges.
Suitable for edges on sheer, fine and stretch fabrics. The larger stitch
should go just over the edge of the fabric to create the shell effect.
Rampart (B)
Gathering with cord or shirring elastic.
This stitch can be used for firm, thicker fabrics.
Bridging (C)
For seams, place mats, tablecloths.
Decorative joining seam for a fagotted effect.

Para orillas decorativas.
Adecuado para arillas en tejidos transparentes, finos y elSsticos. El
punto mas ancho tiene que apenas sobrepasar el borde del tejido para
crear el efecto de concha.
Punto sobreorillado inclinado (B)
Fruncido con cordoncillo o frunce multiple con elasticos.
Puede utilizarse para tejidos resistentes mas gruesos.
Punto gaviota (C)
Para costuras, manteles individuales, manteles de mesa.
Puntos decorativos de union para efecto de vainicas.
