1. Insert a cassette with the side intended for play
facing outwards.
2. Press
the desired
NOISE
REDUCTION
selector
(DOLBY-B, DOLBY-C or dbx).
To listen without noise reduction, press "THRU".
3. Set MONITOR switch to TAPE, making sure "TAPE"
indicator lamp lights to confirm setting.
4. Press the PLAY button.
Full automatic stop
When
the tape reaches
its end in any mode
of play
(playback, recording, rewind or fast forward), the auto-
matic stop mechanism
disengages
the drive mecha-
nism and returns all controls to neutral.
Safety lock mechanism
The cassette deck is provided with a safety lock mech-
anism
which
renders
the operating
buttons
inoperative
even if they are depressed when the cassette compart-
ment is open. This prevents failures due to erroneous oper-
ation.

Depress the EJECT key. The cassette holder opens and
you can then remove the cassette.

Vollautomatischer Stopp
Bei
Erreichen
des
Bandendes
in einer
Setriebsary
(Wiedergabe, Aufnahme, Ruckspulen oder Schnellvor-
lauf) wird der Antriebsmechanismus
durch
die auto-
matische Stoppeinrichtung
ausgekuppelt
und alle Be-
dienungselemente werden ausgerastet.
Sicherheitsverriegelung
Dieses Kassettendeck ist mit einer Sicherheitsverriegelung
ausgestattet, die daflr sorgt, da8 die Bedienungstasten
selbst beim Niederdriicken
funktionsunfahig sind, wenn
das Kassettenfach geoffnet ist. Dadurch werden Betriebss-
torungen wegen falscher Bedienung verhindert.
