This example shows the unit connected to an amplifier through the
ANALOG
IN/OUT terminals, and to digital equipment (CD player,
MD player, DAT, etc.) through the OPTICAL DIGITAL IN terminals.
Before making connections, turn off all the components.
ANALOG IN / OUT terminals
Connect the PLAY (OUT) terminals to PLAY (IN) terminals on an
amplifier to play through speakers connected to the amplifier.
Connect the REC (IN) terminals to the REC (OUT) terminals on an
amplifier to record sounds from other components connected to the
amplifier.

OPTICAL DIGITAL terminals
Remove the dust-protection caps (©) before connecting the
optical fiber cables.
Connect IN 1 and IN 2 to OPTICAL OUT terminals on other
components for digital recording to this unit.
OPTICAL
DIGITAL terminals not in use should be covered by a
dust cap.

AC IN terminal
Connect to a household mains socket with the AC mains lead.
Insertion of connector
Even when the connector is perfectly
inserted, depending on the type of inlet
used, the front part of the connector
may jut out as shown in the drawing.
However there is no problem using the
unit.
This unit may interfere with radio reception so leave some distance
between it and your tuner.
