RECORDING WITH MANUAL ADJUSTMENTS
MANUAL AUDIO RECORDING
Use the manual audio recording mode when you want to record sound for more than the 9.6 seconds
which is obtained in automatic audio recording mode.
The video and audio recordings cannot be made
simultaneously.
• When the AUDIO REC (MAN) switch and the
shutter release button are pressed simultaneously,
only the video recording will be made.
• When the shutter release button Is pressed during
an
audio recording, the audio recording stops and
the video recording will be made.
To interrupt an audio recording
Release the AUDIO REC (MAN) switch.
When an audio recording is not required

To make an audio recording Independently
• Press the AUDIO REC (MAN) switch before
pressing the shutter release button.
• After an automatic audio recording, set the AUDIO
selector to MAN and press te AUDIO REC (MAN)
switch.
• After a manual audio recording, press the AUDIO
REC (MAN) switch and press it again.
• After a video recording, record the sound with the
skip recording function.
To play back and edit the recordings
The Sony MVR-A770 still video recorder allows
editing of the video and audio recordings made at
random into the desired order. For details, refer to
the Instruction manual of the MVR-A770.
