LE Using the Zoom
You can use the zoom buttons to change the size of
the image.
[^Wide-angle
(38 mm)
Use this setting for large-
scale images such as
scenery and group
photos.
Hill Telephoto
(105 mm)
Use this setting for shots
where you want to zoom
in on your subject, such
as portraits.
Press the zoom buttons.
• Pressing
zooms in on your
subject while pressing [m]
zooms out for a wide-angle shot

Do not touch the lens while the lens is zooming.

When you switch the camera on, the lens is initially
set to the wide-angle (38 mm)
• If the lens is left extended in the telephoto position
and is not used for 4 minutes, the lens is
automatically retracted to wide-angle position.
