* Even if REMAIN/ENTER button is pressed, remaining time of the
disc being played cannot be displayed when it has more than 100
selections or its remaining time is more than 100 minutes.
© During shuffle or program play, remaining time of the disc is not
displayed even if REMAIN/ENTER is pressed.
AMS/SEARCH
Press the AMS/SEARCH
(<4 or BP) button.
To locate the beginning of the selection being played
Press the }@ button once.
To locate a previous selection
Press the |«#<q button repeatedly.
To locate the next selection
Press the |
button once.
To locate a selection ahead
Press the P| button repeatedly.
When you press (<q or & | in the pause mode
The player pauses at the beginning of the located selection.
Press the &f button to start playing.
When you press <q or P| in the stop mode
Playback starts from the located selection when you press
the & button.

To review disc playing, keep pressing the ~@<q button.
To advance disc playing, keep pressing the >| button.
Release the button at the desired point, located by either
monitoring the high-speed sound (during play) or observing
the time counter.
Notes on compact discs
This way
Handle the disc by its edge, and to
keep the disc clean, do not touch
the surface.
Do not stick paper or tape or write
anyting on the labeled surface.
Not this way
Do not expose the disc to direct
sunlight or heat sources such as hot
air ducts, or leave it in a car parked
in direct sunlight where there can be
a considerable rise in the

temperature.
Before playing, clean the disc with a
CD cleaner (not supplied). Wipe the
disc from the center out.
Do not use solvents such as benzine, thinner, commercially available
cleaners or anti-static spray intended for analog discs.
After playing, store the disc in its case.
