Common problems
No operation when unit is
powered by batteries.
Probable cause(s)
Is the AC power cord still connected to the unit
while batteries are being used?
Suggested Remedy
Disconnect the AC power cord.
Are the batteries flat?
Replace them with new ones. Alternatively, use a
household AC outlet as the power source.
Have the batteries been installed incorrectly with
their (+) and (—) polarities reversed?
Align the (+) and (-) polarities correctly.
"U01" appears.
