    MAINTENANCE USEFUL TIP: When carrying out any maintenance to the filter, we recommend that a plastic sheet or something similar is placed underneath the filter to catch any water that may be spilt during maintenance. 1.     8. Ensuring all connections have been made correctly and are secure, carefully open the taps on both the water inlet and water outlet hosetails so that they are in the fully open position. Failure to do so will cause operating problems. 9.
