MAC/ Mobile Phone Connection

  1. Mac Book Air:
    Needs an extra Mini Display Port to HDMI adapter (not included).
  2. Mac Book Pro:
    Needs an extra Type C to HDMI adapter (not included).
  3. Android:
    Needs on extra Micro USB to HDMl/Type C to HDMI adapter (not included).
  4. iPhone:
    Needs an extra Lightning to HDMI adapter (not included).

Blurry Image

  1. First, correct the keystone to a rectangle.
  2. Second, rotate the focus button to gain the best clarity.
    *Effective Projection Distance: 0.8 - 4.8m

Mounting Hole
Adopting single mounting hole dual-use design, projector is compatible with the standard camera tripod and 1/4 inch screw projector tripod stand. Meanwhile, you can rotate up and down the screw to meet different height needs.

First Use

  1. Plug the power cord to the projector.
  2. Press power button to turn on the projector.
  3. Connect your device to the projector.

  4. Select the input source.
  5. Adjust keystone and focus ring to get the best image performance.

  6. Adjust here accordingly.
  7. Press the power button twice to turn off the projector.

Instruction for Wireless Cellphone Connection (Screen Mirroring)

iPhone (IOS system)
First-time connection:
Setting up the connection (may require cellular data for the first-time setup).

Step 1. Tum on the projector and press the "S" key to select Screen Mirroring as the input source.

Step 2. Go to the "Settings'" and connect to "RKcast-XXXXXX"' or "RKcast-XXXXXXl" (password: 1234567B) in Wi-Fi setup.

Step 3. Exit the "Settings" and open "Screen Miroring/Airplay Miroring". Click the "RKcast-XXXXXX" to connect to the projector.

iPhone (IOS system)
Streaming with your Wi-Fi (wireless connection)

Step 1. Tum on the projector and press the "S" key to select Screen Mirroring as the input source.

Step 2. Go to the "Settings" and connect to "RKCast-XXXXXX" or "RKCast-XXXXXXI" (password: 12345678) in Wi-Fi setup.

Step 3. Open Safari (or other internet browser) on your device and put in http://192.168.49.1 as the IP address. Follow Wi-Fi AP — Scan Then select your Wi-Fi and enter the password. Tap 'Connect'. Your Wi-Fi should be displayed on projector's interface of Screen Mirroring for IOS System after a successful connection.

Step 4. Open '"Screen Mirroring" on your device and click " RKcast-XXXXXX" to connect.

warning Please note:

  1. If other mobile devices have been connected to your home WiFi, then it can be directly "Screen Mirroring" connected to the projector.
  2. Next time you just need to open "Screen Mirroring" on your connected device and click "RKcast-XXXXXX" to connect to the projector.

WHY DOES THE PROJECTOR'S WI-FI STOP SHOWING ON MY IPHONE'S Wi-Fi'S LIST?
After the initial connection to the selected Wi-Fi on your device, the projector will be automatically connected to the same Wi-Fi in the future, the projector's Wi-Fi no longer appears on the Wi-Fi list of your device.

HOW TO CONNECT TO A DIFFERENT WI-Fl?

  1. Step 1. Turn on the projector and Switch to '"Mirroring" page, down the IP address and Wi-Fi name at the lop of the interface. This Wi-Fi is the currently connected Wi-Fi.
  2. Step 2. Open Safari (or other internet browsers) on your device and type in projector's IP address.
  3. Step 3. When the following page shows up, top Wi-Fi AP - Scan - Forget. You should notice that the current Wi-Fi disappear in the projection interface.

  4. Step 4: Follow the Wi-Fi connection instruction to connect to a new Wi-Fi.

warningNote:
Please make sure that the "Wi-Fi" router's transmit frequency band is 2.4G (Projector's transmit frequency band is 2.4G)
If not, you could not connect the projector to your Wi-Fi router.

Android System (wireless connection)
To use this function, your android device must support Multiscreen/Wireless display.

Step 1. Tum on the projector and press the "S " key to select Screen Mirroring as the input source.

Step 2. Go to the "Settings" one open your Wi-Fi.

Step 3. Activate Multi-screen function in your Android device and search for the projector select '"RKcast-XXXXXX" and click to connect. Your Android device display will be projected to the wall/screen after a successful connection.

warning Please note:

  1. Make sure your mobile device is within 3 ft distance from the projector when using wireless connection.
  2. Some mobile devices do not support screen mirroring.

Example:
Connect c SAMSUNG S7 Mobile Phone.

  1. Step 1. Turn an the projector and press the "S" key to select Screen Mirroring as the input source.
  2. Step 2. Open the "Smart View" on your device, select 'RKcast-XXXXXX"and click to connect.

Steps to Connect through Charging Cable

Step 1. Turn on the projector and press the "S" key to select Screen Mirroring as the input source.

Step 2. Connect your IOS mobile device to the "USB-1" port of the projector with the original lightning cable.

Step 3. Select "Trust" in the pop-up window of "Trust This Computer?". The display of your IOS mobile device should be projected to the wall/screen after a few seconds.

For Android Phone (Android System)
App Installation and Download Guide

Step 1. Turn on the projector and press the "S" key to select Screen Mirroring as the input source.

Step 2. Connect your Android mobile device to the USB-T port of the projector using the original charging cable. A window will pop up automatically and prompts you to download the App. Please select "VIEW" to finish the download and installation.

Step 3. Unplug the original cable and reconnect the device. A window will pop up to start the App. Please select "START NOW".

Step 4. After starting the App, select "OK" in the pop-up windows of "RKCast". Your device's screen should be projected to the wall/screen in a few seconds.

warning Please note:

  1. The charging cable must be the original cable or a compatible cable, or the screen mirroring may be unsuccessful.
  2. Some mobile devices may not support screen mirroring.

For Android Phone (Android system)
Connect through device configuration if you choose not to the use the App

Step 1. Turn on the projector and press the "S" key to select Screen Mirroring os the input source.

Step 2. Go to the "Settings" on your device, find "Developer Options" and turn an the "USB Debugging."

warning Note: The steps to turn on "Developer Options" may vary among Android devices. Please contact our customer service if you have questions about this step.

Example: Samsung Galaxy S8+
Go to the "Settings" and follow About Phone — Software Information — Build Number. Tap '"Build Number" for several times until it shows " Developer mode hod been turned on". Go back to the "Settings' and it should snow "Developer Options" now.

Step 3. Connect your Android mobile device to the USB-T port of the projector with the original charging cable.

Step 4. Select "OK" in the pop-up windows of "Allow USB debugging?". Your device's screen should be projected to the wall/screen in a few seconds.

Do not Install the projector in sites with improper ventilation.

Do not install the projector near the temperature and smoke transducer. It may cause a sensor failure.


Do not install the projector in hot and humid sites.


Do not install the projector in dust and smoke sites.


Do not install the projector in sites with direct blowing of warm and cool air-condition wind.
Otherwise it cause the project failure due to moisture condensation or temperature increment.
