During memory recall operation, depressing this key recalls memory CH4.
When depressed, the ALERT indicator lights to show alert operation is in pro-
gress.
During memory recall operation, depressing this key recalls memory CH5.
Memory channel 5 is used for odd split operation as for memory channel 4.
The frequencies
(transmit and receive)
stored
in CH5
designate
frequency
range limits for programmable scan operation.
For more details, refer to page 15.
As shown in the table, this key provides three types of operation.
A/B key functions
Each time the key is depressed, VFO A and B are selected
alternately.

FRONT VIEW
When this switch is pressed, the repeater control tone burst signal (1 ,750 Hz)
is emitted for about 0.5 seconds at the beginning of each transmission.
