To close the SIM door slide it to the right.
To release the SIM card, slide the SIM door to
the left. Press the SIM door inwards until you
hear a distinct click and the SIM card is
released.

■ Charge the battery

Warning: Use only batteries, chargers, and enhancements approved by
Nokia for use with this particular model. The use of any other types may
invalidate any approval or warranty, and may be dangerous.
This device has an internal, non-removable, rechargeable battery. Do not attempt
to remove the battery from the device as you may damage the device. Nokia
recommends taking it to the nearest authorized service facility for replacement
of the battery.
Check the model number of any charger before use with this device. This device is
intended for use when supplied with power from the AC-1, ACP-7, ACP-12, or
LCH-12 chargers.

completely discharged, it may take a few
minutes before the charging indicator
appears on the display or before any calls
can be made.
2. Connect the lead from the charger to the socket on the bottom of your phone.
The charging time depends on the charger used. Charging a battery with the AC-
1 charger takes up to 1 hour and 30 minutes while the phone is in the standby
mode.
The BL-8N internal fixed battery provides up to 3 hours of talk time and up to
10 days of standby time. Operation times are estimates and may vary depending
on network conditions, charging, and device use.

■ Switch the phone on and off

prohibited or when it may cause interference or danger.
