The HP 9820A/21A/30A Calculators use the CMD statement to program the 5328A. The
calculator addresses itself to talk and the counter to listen, then transmits a series of program
codes. The codes to control the operation of the 5328A are listed in the program code set (Table
5-2). Suppose you have set the counter to talk address "'J'' and listen address "*''. Then typical
statements to program the counter are:
