are shown beside the text, pay a special attention
to their instructions.

5 - Notes to the operator
It is your responsibility to read and understand the
Safety Section in this Manual, before using the
equipment. You must follow the safety instructions
which will guide you step by step during your
working journey.
Remember that you are an essential part to make
the operation of the machine safe. Good safety
practices not only protect you, but also the people
near you. Carefully read the safety instructions
herein and include them in your safety program.

1. Safety Guidelines
Remember that this Safety Section was specially
designed for this equipment. Follow all usual and
habitual safety precautions and, above of all else,
REMEMBER THAT YOUR SAFETY DEPENDS ONLY
OF YOU. YOU CAN PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY OR
DEATH.
Fire extinguisher As a safety procedure, always keep
the fire extinguisher near the harvester, so it can be
used in case a fire breaks out.
Always make sure the brakes are in perfect working
conditions and properly setup.
6 - Follow a safety program
6.1 - During the operation
•
Before starting the operation, make sure that
all safety guards are in place and properly
attached;
•
Check for any foreign objects in the grain tank
to prevent feeding channel clogs and damages
to the unloading tube and to the equipment;
•
Always start the engine with the gear in neutral
position and release the parking brake, before
shifting to any other gear;
•
While the machine is in motion, only the
operator can remain on the harvester.
•
Make sure there is no one near the machine
before starting the cropping platform or
thresher device and during the separation or
cleaning procedures.
•
When driving the machine to the crop and back
to storage, keep all thresher devices and the
cropping platform off;
•
When parking the harvester:
transmission to Neutral and apply the parking
brake. If it is not necessary tpo keep the engine
running, turn it off.
•
After parking the equipment, always lower the
cropping platform to the ground;
•
Never leave the operator's platform without
attention if the engine is still running and the
ignition key is inserted, except when adjusting
the fan, even when the thresher devices must
be operating.
•
Never drive the harvester downhill with the
transmission in Neutral.
•
Try to keep people away from the machine
during its operation. The high speed projected
material from the machine can cause personal
injuries;
