Notes on the lithium battery
© One lithium battery will last for about 6 months.
¢ The following functions cannot be activated without the lithium battery inserted:
—LCD display (when the unit is in the stop mode)
— Clock display
— Storing of the stations
— Memorizing the tape counter digits
— Changing the frequency range for using the unit in other countries.
— Forward side priority function*
Radio reception, recording and tape playback are possible without the lithium
battery being inserted.
* If you open the cassette holder while the unit is in the stop mode and the tape
inside is on the reverse side, the tape transport direction will be automatically
changed to the forward side and the recording or playback will start from that
side.
