if you think your dishwasher is not working properly
Before calling our service centre, please check whether you can rectify the fault yourself
by following the instructions given below. Should this information be of no assistance to
you in a specific case, please contact our service centre.
0 The programme will not start.
- Are the fuses in the fixed wiring in order? Is your machine connected to the electricity
supply?
— Have you closed the door properly? If the door is not properly closed, the message
y lights up on the control panel.
~ Have you set the start time preselection? Check the start time preselection (see the
section on "Preselecting the start time").
J The message \w
lights up, and an audible tone additionally sounds.
~ The upper spray arm cannot rotate freely. Rearrange your crockery.
OO The message =) lights up or flashes. The water supply is disrupted.
— Have you turned on the water tap?
- Is the strainer in the hose screw connection on the water tao choked? Check hose
running. Clean the strainer if necessary.
— Isthe water supply hose kinked? Check hose running (see the section on "Water supply").
C You can hear a continuous buzzing sound (Aqua-Alarm), when your machine
is switched on, and the multidisplay indicates fault [ 7.
— The water protection system has responded. First turn off the water tap. Then pull out
the mains plug. If you have a fixed connection: switch off the fuse(s) or unscrew the
screw-in fuse(s). Call our service centre to determine the fault.
The
multidisplay shows a fault message, e.g. [/]...£9 or (A... CE. The
illumination of the lettering beside the pressed programme button flashes. One
or more programme steps possibly light up or flash on the programme cycle
indicator.
— For fault message [ -: see under fault [ 7.
— For all other fault messages: note the fault message and all illuminating displays and call
our service centre.
lf the fault message causes a programme to stop, press the programme button beside
the flashing lettering. The programme will then be cycled through to the end and the
water pumped out of your machine.
O The multidisplay shows fault i' ¢'. The illumination of the lettering beside the
pressed programme button flashes. The programme stops. /!!\ lights up or
flashes in the programme cycle indicator. Water drainage is disrupted!
— Is the drain hose kinked? Check hose running.
— Is the drain hose correctly run? (see the section on "Water drainage").
— Is the sink trap choked? Clean the sink trap if necessary.
Cancelling the fault message:
When the fault is rectified, press the programme button beside the flashing lettering.
The fault message will be cancelled and the programme continued.
if the fault recurs: First turn off the water tap. Then pull out the mains plug. If you have
a fixed connection: switch off the fuse(s) or unscrew the screw-in fuse(s). Call our service
centre to determine the fault.
J The message @ lights up.
— The strainers on the floor of your dishwasher are soiled (see ihe section on "Cleaning
the strainers").
