Interrupting the programme

O A running washing programme is interrupted if you open the door.
Cj Reclose the door. The washing programme restarts from the position where it
was interrupted.
You should open the door during the programme cycle only when absolutely
necessary (blocked spray arm). When you reclose the appliance, the penetrat-
ing air is strongly heated and expands. This may lead to programme cycle
irregularities requiring service centre attention.
Sensorlogic
Should you wish to start your dishwasher with a half or reduced load of dishes,
it features an intelligent Sensorlogic system with fuzzy control. Depending on the
load, the Sensorlogic each time determines the necessary amount of water.
A sensor then initially detects the necessary amount of water depending on the
load of dishes. Few dishes and little soiling call for little water and vice versa.
A sensor then measures the temperature transition when the water is being
heated. This means a short heating time for a small load of crockery and a
longer heating time for a large load.
These data are next evaluated by a so-called fuzzy logic system and the actual
load of dishes thereby detected.
In the subsequent programme
cycle, your
dishwasher now needs only the amount of water required for a perfect machine
washing result — regardless of how your crockery is arranged. The power con-
sumption and programme time are of course also correspondingly affected.
At half-load (6 standard place settings), you save up to 3 litres of water and
0.4 kWh power.
