1.5 Cleaning and Maintenance
• The use of unsuitable cleaning agents
and methods can damage the camera
housing!
• Clean the outside of the camera housing
with a dry cloth.
• Blow loose dust off the sensor surface.
• Use high quality lens cleaning towels
or soft cloth and moisten it with a little
bit of pure alcohol (available in a drug
store). Gently wipe the sensor surface in
a circular motion from the centre to the
edge of the lens, applying a small amount
of pressure.
1.6 Care, storage and transport
• Protect the camera from dust, dirt and
moisture. This affects the quality of the
results.
• Avoid
fingerprints
contamination on the optical surface.
• Switch off the device after each session
and cover it (to protect against dust and
moisture).
• If you do not plan to use the camera for
an extended period, store the camera and
accessories in a closed container in a dry
and mould-free location.
• If the camera and accessories are used in
a warm and humid climate, special care
is required to prevent the formation of
mould.
• Use the original packaging for shipping
