2. Editing Rhythm Track
It is possible to edit your Rhythm Track.
If you wish to add or delete Rhythm Pat-
tern, refer to ''[6] Edit Functions" in Ad-
vanced Course on P. 27.
A. Operation
(1? While holding the Shift Button down,
press the Track Selector Button of the
relevant Rhythm Track. This will turn
the TR-909
into the Track
Program
mode.
(2: Press the Start Key, and the Rhythm
will start running.
» Recall the measure which you аге to
edit by pressing the Forward
Button.

@ Each time you press the Forward But-
ton, the number
on the Display will
change
showing
that
measure
is ad-
vanced one by one. If you come to the
measure
number
you wish to replace
with
new
data,
press
no
longer the
Enter Key.
* The Enter Key can be used instead of
the Forward Button.

(4) Select the
Rhythm
Pattern to be ге-
placed.
This
will cause
the selected
Rhythm to start playing, so that it will
be easier for you to edit.
/5) Press the Enter Key, and new Rhythm
Pattern
will replace the existing data
(without
increasing the total measure
number). (>
(8) Press the Stop/Continue Key. (7
*|f you notice that you have entered the
wrong
Rhythm
Pattern
immediately
after entering
it, simply back one mea-
sure up by using the Back Button, select
the correct Rhythm Pattern, and hit the
Enter
Key,
then
continue
Track
Pro-
gram.

Editing
1. It is also possible to stop running the
Rhythm, then edit the Track.
In this case, simply skip the procedure

in "А. Operation'. (In this mode,
each time you press the Enter Key (or
Forward
Button),
the
indicator
(on
the Main Key) of the Rhythm current-
ly selected will light up. And this is the
only way
to tell which
Rhythm
Pat-
tern is recalled.
2. There is another way to recall the mea-
sure to be replaced, that is, instead of
procedure
(9 , do the following two
procedures
while
holding
the
Shift
Button down. (i
(D Assign the measure number by pres-
sing the Main Keys (here, they serve

85 Number
Keys). For instance, to
recall measure
number
25, press 2
then 5.
