Product use
Open the gas valve from the reducer
fitting in the gas bottle.
The burner can be regulated with the
corresponding control knob using one
of the following settings:
To light one of the burners, place a
lighter or match near the burner, push
in the control knob and turn it to the
"HIGH" position.
The knob must be pressed for some
seconds until the device that keeps
the flame burning warms up.
If the burner accidentally goes out,
turn the control knob to the off
position and try lighting the burner
again after 1 minute.
For safety it is recommended that you
turn off the gas supply if the unit is
not used.
To turn off the burner, simply turn the
knob to the off position.
Always closet the gas supply
whenever you are not using the
product
For better drive performance,
follow the steps given below:
Use the correct cookware for each
burner to prevent the flame from
reaching the sides of the pot or pan.
Always use utensils with a flat
bottom.
All types of containers can be used on
the surface of this product. However,
the use of pans with a completely flat
bottom is recommended.
Pans with a thicker bottom will
substancea.
distribute the heat more evenly.
Use cookware whose diameter is at
least as large as the cooking area, so
that all the heat produced by the unit
will be used. This will not only help
save money, but will also allow food to
cook more evenly.
Make sure the bottom of the pot is
completely dry and clean, as this will
improve contact between the unit and
the burner. Plus, it will help preserve
the life of the utensils and unit.
Note: On first use you may detect a
rubbery smell. This odor is normal and
will disappear after some time.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning the unit, disconnect it from
the power source or gas supply. To extend
the life of the unit it is recommended that
this unit be cleaned regularly and carefully
in order to protect the finish of the unit.
Follow the directions given below:
• The enamelled parts and the inside
of the oven should be washed with
warm water. Avoid the use of strong
detergents or solvents as this may
damage the finish.
• The removable parts of the unit
should be washed with plenty of
water and mild detergent. Always be
sure to remove adhering foods. The
stainless steel surface may show
spots if it remains in contact with
highly calcareous water or very strong
detergents for a very long period of time.
To avoid this it is recommended that
these parts be thoroughly washed with
water and dried thoroughly. It is also
recommended to clean up any spills
that may occur as soon as possible.
• Clean any spilling quickly to prevent it
from sticking to the surface and leave
a permanent stain in the burner and in
the surface.
• Make sure that the gas holes are not
plugged.
