Installation
Before you use the appliance for the first
time, remove the cardboard inside the
drum of the spin dryer, and wipe the in¬
side of the drum with a damp cloth.
Electrical Connection
Warning: This appliance must be
earthed. The manufacturer declines to
accept any liability should this safety
measure not be observed.
For your convenience and safety your
new Zanussi spin dryer comes ready fit¬
ted with a moulded flex and plug. All you
have to do is push the plug into a 13 amp
power socket and switch on.
However, if for some reason you need to
replace this plug with one of your own
you will find the wires inside the flex are
colour-coded as follows:
Green & Yellow: Earth
Blue:
Neutral
Brown:
Live
Make sure you connect each wire to the
correct terminal inside the plug. The
plug's terminals may be colour coded in
the same way as the wires. If not, the
earth terminal will either be coloured
Green, marked with the symbol »■=■«, or
marked with the letter »E«. The neutral
terminal will either be coloured black, or
be marked with the letter »N«. The live
terminal will either be coloured red, or
be marked with the letter »L«.
