Using the Game Mode feature
x_m can use the (;aisle Mode feature for shorter fhme delays when
playing a video game requiring split-second timing between the on-
screen display and input from the controller (such as music creation
and high-action gaines).
To turn on Game Mode:
Press GAME. The TV will switch to the Game Mode when the on-
screen display closes.
Note:
If you adjust
thevolumeor makeanyother
adjustments
thatcause a menu
or on-screen control
p anel to display,
theGameMode willbe
temporarily
suspended
untilthe
on-screen display
closes.
To turn off"(;aisle Mode:
You can change the video input in any of the following ways:
• pressing INPUT.
• changing the channel using the Number buttons or CH ^ v.
Using the Auto off feature
When the Auto off feature is set to On, the TV will automatically turn
itself off"after approximately 15 minutes if it is tuned to a vacant
channel or a station that completes its broadcast for the da> This
feature does not work when the Blue screen mode is set to Off:
To activate the Auto off"feature:
1. Press MENU, and then press • or • until the Special menu appears.
2. Press ENTER, and then press • or • to highlight Auto off:

To deactivate the Auto off"feature:
Select Off in step 3 above.
Displaying on-screen

Understanding
the last mode memory feature
If the power is cut offwhile you are viewing the TV, the Last Mode
Memory feature turns on the TV automatically when the power is
resupplied.
If the power is going to be off"for a long time and you are going to be
away from your TV, unplug the power cord to prevent the TV from
turning on in your absence.
