Use this Product Safety
When Parked
e Parking in direct sunlight can produce very high
temperatures inside your car Give the interior a
chance to cool down before switching the unit on
e Do not watch the monitor with the engine off It
will consume battery power and may prevent the
engine from starting
Use the Proper Power Supply
e This product is designed to operate with a 12 V,
negative ground battery system (the normal sys-
tem in a North American car)
Use Authorized Servicenters
e Do not attempt to disassemble or adjust this pre-
cision product Please refer to the Servicenter list
included with this product for service assistance
For Installation
e Where and how this unit ts installed differs
according to the car model concerned

installers and is not intended for non-technical
individuals
e Be sure to install the monitor in a position that
does not obstruct the driver's vision
e if the monitor has been installed for the rear
seat passengers, they must be careful to pre-
vent injury by hitting their heads on the monitor
in case of an accident
e Do not install the unit in an area where rt would
obstruct the operation of an atr bag
e Ask a trained technician. to install the unit

Find the model number and serial number on
either the back or bottom of the unit Please
record them in the spaces below and retain this
booklet as a permanent record of your purchase

o Be sure not to let the unit fall or be strongly
impacted since this may cause a malfunction or

occur within the liquid crystal panel which may
cause malfunctions

image may not appear clearly or may move slow-
ly Also, movement of the image may seem to he
out of synchronization or the image quality may
decline in such environments Note that this is not
a malfunction or problem

e There may be red spots, blue spots and green
spots on the panel surface This is a characteristic
of liquid crystal panels and is not a problem The
liquid crystal panel is built with very high precision
technology and has at least 99 99% effective
image pixels Be aware that on O 0196 of the panel
there may be missing pixels or constantly light
