12. Now install the spring and tighten the second "lock" nut. Do not to change the setting of the lower nut as this
would change the pressure applied to the pickup.
13. The lock nut can be finger tightened as well, but it should compress the spring in order to keep the lower nut
from moving.
14. Re-check if the pressure setting of the lower nut did not change and reset lower nut if necessary. Correct light
pressure is the key to a good sound and feedback control.
15. Install the jack and the resonator cone assembly. Make sure that the cable does not touch the cone inside the
guitar.
16. Reinstall resonator cover, string-holder and strings.

REMOVING PICKUPS

If you need to remove this pickup after installation, please do not use any kind of chemical or solvent on the
pickup! This includes products like acetone, Goo-Gone, super glue remover, rubbing alcohol, WD-40, or similar.
Using any kind of solvent will de-laminate and destroy the pickup.
We recommend the following procedure for removing the pickup(s):
- Slide a razor blade or slim knife under the pickup and carefully lift it off.
- Rub off any remaining adhesive on the pickup with your thumb, or with fine sandpaper.
