To remove the unit
Press the T.P.C button and lift the
handle.
Use the handle to pull the unit out.
ACAUTION
e To prevent damage to the tape heads, eject cassettes before removing the unit.
e This unit is a piece of precision equipment. Dropping or shaking may cause damage.
e The unit is in the removable status for 10 seconds after one of the following operations:
After the ignition key is switched OFF; after the handle is lifted while the ignition key is
ON, and; after the faceplate is attached while the ignition key is OFF.
It is not possible to put the unit in the removable status for 10 seconds after one of the
following operations:
After the unit is installed, and; after the unit removable status is over.
