- Page 6 MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS V3.0 Magnetic mounts are not meant to be used at highway speeds. Installing the permanent brackets will involve drilling holes. It is recommended not to exceed 35MPH with magnet mounts. MAGNET MOUNT INSTRUCTIONS The permanent mount bracket is adjustable and can be moved in or out.
