You can select the maximum
zoom level in case you want to zoom to a level
greater lhan 10 times while recording
on a tape. Note that the image qualily
decreases when you are using the digital zoom. This t_nction is useful when
recording enlarged
pictures of a distant subject, such as a bird.

You can record a 16:9 wide picture on the tape to watch on a 16:9 wide-screen
TV
([16:9WIDE]
mode).
With this function
[ON], your camcorder
offers even wider angles when you
move lhe power zoom lever to the "W" side _hm_ recording
in [OFF].
When you connect your camcorder
to the S video input jack ofa TV compatible
with the ID-I/ID-2
system and play lhe tape, 1he TV switches to full mode
automatically.
