1.INSPECTION -After unpacking the pump, please check if it has been damaged during transport. My jets 80 is not building enough pressure to run sprinklers like it did last year. I took it out and stored it for the winter and installed it today, had trouble getting it primed and now it is not putting out enough volume.
The TDRFORCE JETS-60 may not be building enough pressure to run sprinklers due to the following reasons:
1. Air in the System – The pump must be filled with water before starting. If there is air in the pump body or suction line, it may not function properly.
2. Suction Issues – A foot valve with a strainer must be installed on the suction pipe, and both suction and delivery pipes must be well fastened. Any leaks or blockages can reduce pressure.
3. Dry Running Protection – If the pump runs without water for 5 minutes, the lack-of-water protection circuit will shut it off automatically.
4. Restricted Flow – If the pump has been unused for a long period, deposits or frozen water may restrict flow. It should be emptied and checked before reuse.
5. Operating Conditions – The pump is designed for freshwater circulation only. If used with improper fluids or outside its specifications, it may not generate sufficient pressure.
